I 'Heart'
Just in time for Valentines' Day, here is a small collection of heart-themed pieces from British design company Deadgood for Barker & Stonehouse stores.
I'm trying to work out whether these are kitsch or cool. Unfortunately I suspect the former, though I'm loving the shapes and the detailing such as the covered buttons on the chair and the beautifully executed heart-shaped joinery.
Thoughts?

Well...perhaps not design for the ages, but it IS really well-executed as you say, and I like the retro-70's-ish shape of the heart. And for heaven's sake, at least it's not an "anatomically correct" heart. Maybe it's because my son just had heart surgery, but I have noticed those popping up everywhere lately. Oh, so edgy and original!

I'm SO with you on the anatomically correct hearts. They just make me feel squeamish...

I don't usually love hearts. But on the fabric of this chair, in the same neutral color, it is amazing. Like your blog, full of eye candys and inspirations.

We love anything with hearts and have them all over the house. Any new heart ideas always welcome.
